WHEN SHOULD I START DRIVER'S EDUCATION?

You should start your classroom portion of driver's education when you FIRST get your temporary permit.  This allows us ample time to space out your 8 hours of on the road driving during the 6 months that you are required to hold your temporary permit.

HOW DO I GET MY TEMPORARY PERMIT

In order to get your temporary permit you need to be at least 15 yrs 6 months of age.  Take your birth certificate, social security card, and a licensed parent with their social security car to the nearest exam station to take a computerized test.  You may pick up a book to study at any license bureau prior to taking the test.  Once you pass the test you can get your temporary permit by going to any license bureau.  There is no fee to take the test, however there is a fee to get your actual temporary permit.  


WHO CAN I DRIVE WITH ON A TEMPORARY PERMIT?   

While driving on a temporary permit, if you are between the age of 15 1/2 and 16 years old you may drive with a licensed  parent or driving instructor only.  Between the age of 16 and 18 years old, you may drive with a licensed driver over the age of 21 years old.

WHO DO I DO MY 50 HRS OF DRIVING WITH?                                                 

The 50 hours of driving must be done with a licensed parent or legal guardian ONLY. Ten of the 50 hours must be done after dark.

WHAT IS YOUR COST?                                                                                 

The course cost is $375.00 ($350 special if PIF by first class only, CALL US FOR DATES).  This includes 24 hours of classroom and 8 hours of on the road driving with an instructor.  We provide all transportation for the 8 hours of driving.   

CAN I MAKE PAYMENTS?

Absolutely.  There is NO set down payment or payment plan that you must follow. You just need to be paid in full before scheduling your driving hours with us and we ask that you pay in full within 90 days of your start date. 

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT?   

Yes, for your convenience you can pay on our register/pay here  page by using credit card through paypal.  Its quick, easy, and safe.  Please be sure to add your students name & start date to your payment.  Credit cards are not accepted in the classroom. Please note that there is a handling fee of $5 to use this service.  You can still make multiple payments, just add $5 to your  payments.          

DO YOU OFFER ADULT LESSONS?

Yes.  We offer on the road driving lessons for adults with a valid temporary permit. The first lesson is 1.5 hours and cost $75.  After the initial lessons you may choose from 2 of our packages.  5 hrs is $225 and 10 hrs is $400. 


HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY DRIVING HOURS WITH AN INSTRUCTOR?    

You simply need to be paid in full, have attended at least one full classroom session, have your validated temporary permit in your possession and call our office at 419-885-0909.  Driving hours are available 7 days a week from 8am-10pm.

HOW DO I SCHEDULE MY DRIVING TEST?

WHAT DO I TAKE WITH ME TO MY ROAD EXAM?                

You will need your temporary permit, certificate of completion from the driving school, and know your social security number.  You will also need to know the make and license plate number of the vehicle you will be using.

CAN I USE THE DRIVING SCHOOL'S VEHICLE FOR MY ROAD TEST?                             

Yes you may, however there is an additional fee to do this.  Please call our office at 419-885-0909 for details.

DO YOU OFFER THE ADULT REMEDIAL COURSE?                

NO

HAVING TROUBLE WITH MANEUVERABILITY?

You can rent our cones to practice in your own vehicle.  Simply come into our McCord Rd or Woodville Rd location and put down a $25 cash deposit.  You can then use the cones for one hour with your vehicle.  When you return the cones you will receive $20 of your deposit back.  Please call our office at 419-885-0909 to find out when the cones are available.


DO YOU OFFER A BREAK DURING THE CLASSROOM SESSIONS?

Yes!  There is a 15 minute break half way through each class.  At this time you can bring a snack with you or go to JETS PIZZA, HUNGRY HOWIES, or a carryout located close to our classroom.  If you would like to view their menus you can do so at www.jetspizza.net  or www.hungryhowies.com
